Tim is the son of two Bay Area natives. He grew up living with his mother on the San Francisco Peninsula, but always cherished the weekends and summers spent with his father in Sonoma County. Tim received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Washington & Jefferson College in Pennsylvania, before returning to Sonoma County to work in the wine business, first in the cellar and later in sales. After years spent in working various businesses, Tim started his second career as an archaeologist and teacher. It was on an archaeological dig in Belize that he met his future wife and business partner, Sarah Preston. Tim and Sarah moved to Marin County while Tim attended San Francisco State University where he received his Master’s Degree in anthropology.
In 2007 Tim and Sarah moved back to Sonoma County and have never looked back. While living in Petaluma Tim started teaching anthropology, first with College of Marin and currently with Berkeley City College, while Sarah received a second degree in Interior Architecture and Design. In 2013 they moved north to the Larkfield/Wikiup area to be closer to Tim’s family, who own a small farm and winery in the Dry Creek Valley. Tim is active in local community and business organizations including Incarnation Episcopal Church, the Windsor chapter of Rotary International, the Windsor Service Alliance, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Santa Rosa, Larkfield, Windsor, and Healdsburg Chambers.
Currently, Tim and Sarah work out of the Santa Rosa office of RE/MAX Full Spectrum where they strive to create the best possible experience for their clients. Tim knows that whether you are buying or selling a home, a real estate transaction is a stressful experience. He wants to make the process as painless as possible. Tim knows that a successful transaction relies on more than simply matching the right buyer with a seller. The real estate business is about personal relationships and being comfortable with the person
with whom you are working. Tim combines an insider’s knowledge of Sonoma County with a deep commitment to his clients; these are two qualities that make him the person you want on your side.
